Garden Party Winery Engagement Session

When Sasha asked me to take her and Kevin's engagement photos, I knew I would be in for a treat. Everything Sasha touches is beautiful. She knows EXACTLY what she wants and has a talent for putting gorgeous pieces together! She wanted to take pictures at a winery that would "reflect a garden party with a Tuscan feel". Her family grows Chardonnay in Sonoma, and Sasha LOVES her wine! I am over the moon excited about photographing her gorgeous wedding this June at Gunlacht Bunshu Winery in Sonoma. If her engagement session was any indication of the gorgeous-ness that awaits me, kill me now!
Her gorgeous floral headpiece and bouquet were made by Blooms By Breesa Lee!

Courtni & Phil Wedding, Orange County

I had the opportunity to act as a second shooter for Sara at Focused In Photography. Sara was so impressive to watch. She was so organized and methodical with her time. It was my pleasure to shoot with her!
Shooting weddings is my absolute favorite -- I'm hooked!

Family Photoshoot at the Christmas Tree Farm

When Melissa contacted me about taking their family photos at a nearby Christmas tree farm I was so excited! They showed up in their adorable pajamas and she even brought cute little mugs of hot chocolate and marshmallows. I love when families/couples get creative! You can find Melissa over at her blog My PB&J!

Avery's Second Birthday!

For Avery's second birthday I knew that I wanted it much more low-key than her first birthday! Her nap is right smack in the middle of the day (from around 1-3:30) so we decided that instead of doing a morning party, we'd do a dinner! Pizza and cake with just our families. I made a few confetti balloons, found cute coordinating plates, and attempted my very first ever birthday cake! Brandon frosted the cupcakes and we sprinkled them with tiny edible gold hearts. I found our gorgeous tassel banner on Etsy. Avery's three cousins came over and they played most of the time in our little courtyard, she opened some presents and it was such a great time! All she wanted at her party was "balloobs" and some birthday cake - so she was in heaven. The birthday song is her new favorite, and the last few days I've heard her sing to herself "beeday to you!"
